-
- If you thought going from black and white to color was something, you haven't
- seen -- or heard -- anything yet. The Apple AudioVision 14 Display combines
- superb color graphics with a revolutionary new sound system, so you can not
- only work with today's multimedia applications, but also take advantage of
- emerging telephony, videoconferencing, and speech-recognition applications.
-
- The first in an entirely new class of displays, the AudioVision 14 Display
- integrates high-quality stereo speakers, microphone, and high-contrast display
- into a single, sleek package. Speakers deliver CD-quality sound because they're
- specially engineered for near-field listening, sound clarity, and
- full-frequency response.
-
- Simply speak into the display's built-in microphone when you want to add voice
- annotations to your documents. Or, when speech-recognition applications become
- available, use the microphone to dictate instructions to your computer. Some
- applications will even let you use the microphone as your hands-free
- speakerphone.
-
- For added convenience, the AudioVision 14 comes with ports that put connections
- for headphones, exter-nal speakers, CD players, and any Apple Desktop Bus
- device right on your desktop. So it's a snap to record, listen to, or watch
- your favorite media.
-
- As for display quality, expect exceptional brightness and clarity, thanks to
- Apple's unique electronics and the display's advanced Sony Trinitron pic-ture
- tube. Its fast refresh rate assures flicker-free performance, and the flat,
- high-contrast screen produces crystal-clear images and color, even at the edges
- of the screen.
-
- The unique integration of hardware and software makes the AudioVision 14
- Display simple to use. A single cable en-ables fast, plug-and-play setup.
- Contrast, brightness, and sound controls are con-veniently located on the front
- panel. And new software controls let you cus-tomize the way the display handles
- sound output and input.
-
- The AudioVision 14 Display. You have to see it -- and hear it -- to believe it.
